Programs include professional development and workshops for teachers and students throughout Ohio featuring:

· Customized Professional Development based upon your   district's curriculum objectives and proficiency needs in many   disciplines
· Energy Workshops and Fairs for teachers and students   (grades 4-8) including all major energy concepts
· Energy Bike Workshops for teachers, providing this fantastic   teaching tool to the school district, along with many incentives for the   teachers
· EnergySmart Schools Workshops for those interested in   improving the learning environment, while saving energy and money
· Primary Workshops featuring This Mine of Mine, a great hands on   activity about electricity from coal and reclaiming the land

Materials developed by Ohio Energy Project (OEP) and the National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) provide teachers with:

· Energy concepts, including the major sources of energy, science of   energy, forms and transformations, electricity, and energy efficiency
· Complete, unbiased information and activities in a variety of   disciplines
· Ready-to-use lesson plans easy to implement in the classroom
· Extensive testing by a national panel of teachers across the U. S.

Science Standards : All programs and materials are correlated to National Science Standards and Ohio Proficiency Test, and are subject to extensive evaluation.
