Youth Energy Summit

Fall Season

Each high school teacher brings a team of 10 students from their district to a regional Youth Energy Summit. Interactive activities combining major energy concepts with leadership, teamwork and presentation skills allow students to leave the Youth Energy Summit prepared to conduct an Energy Workshop or Energy Fair in their region for 4th - 8th grade students and their teachers.

Teachers will receive a stipend for leading their team at the Youth Energy Summit, Energy Workshops and Fairs throughout the year.

SUMMIT SHOWCASE

Students are given the opportunity to interact with new friends from schools around the state.

Summit participants learn to perform energy activities to present at the Energy Workshops and Fairs.

By the end of the Summit, student teams have a solid foundation for spreading energy education to their communities.
